General Questions
What Does Labour Pro Group Do?
Labour Pro Group is a labour hire company in Sydney and Perth. We supply screened general labourers, ticketed workers, traffic controllers, tradespeople (including steel fixers), construction cleaners and warehouse staff to builders and businesses — for a single day, a short-term peak or a full project.
How Quickly Can You Supply Workers?
We respond quickly and aim to confirm workers as fast as your job needs them. Short-notice requests are common in construction, so tell us the role, tickets, headcount and start time and we will confirm availability straight away. The earlier you call, the more choice of crew you get.
Do Your Workers Have White Cards And Tickets?
Yes. Every construction worker we place holds a valid White Card (general construction induction) and arrives in site PPE — hard hat, high-visibility clothing and steel-cap boots. Ticketed workers hold the licence the task requires, such as forklift, telehandler, crane, dogging, hoist, traffic control, working at heights or confined space, and we check it before placement.
How Much Does Labour Hire Cost?
Labour hire is charged per worker per hour, and the rate depends on the role, tickets, award classification, shift times and job length. We quote competitive fixed rates upfront, so you know the cost before anyone starts. Call 02 9139 8977 or request a quote for your exact job.
Is There A Minimum Booking?
Yes. A minimum charge of 4 hours applies per worker. You can hire one worker for a short job or a full crew for months. Tell us the scope and we will confirm the hourly rate and booking details before work starts.
Who Manages The Workers On Site?
You direct the work on site, as you would your own team. Labour Pro Group handles recruitment, screening, ticket checks, payroll, superannuation and timesheets, and stays your single point of contact for replacements, feedback and scaling the crew up or down.
Which Areas Do You Cover?
We supply workers across Greater Sydney — from the CBD and Inner West to Parramatta, the Hills, Western Sydney, the Northern Beaches and Sutherland Shire — and across the Perth metropolitan area in Western Australia.
What If A Worker Isn't The Right Fit?
Call us. We act on feedback straight away and arrange a replacement as quickly as possible, so your program is not held up. Honest feedback also helps us match better people to your sites next time.

General & Skilled Labourers
Can General Labourers Work On Construction Sites?
Yes, provided they hold a White Card. Every worker we place on a construction site holds a current White Card and arrives in hard hat, hi-vis and steel caps.
How Much Does A General Labourer Cost?
General labourers are charged at an hourly rate that depends on the award classification, shift times and job length. We quote a fixed rate upfront — see our Labour Hire Booking Guide to prepare your booking brief.
Can I Keep The Same Worker For The Whole Project?
Yes. Where possible we keep the same workers on your site for continuity, so they learn your site rules, your people and your standards.
Do You Supply Labourers Outside Business Hours?
Tell us your shift pattern. Early starts, night works and weekend shifts can be arranged; penalty rates may apply under the relevant award and are included in your quote.

Ticketed Workers
Can I Hire A Dogman And Crane Operator Together?
Yes. We can supply a crane operator and dogman or rigger as a team for your lift, subject to the crane class and site requirements you give us when booking.
Do Forklift Drivers Need A Licence In NSW And WA?
Yes. Operating a forklift in NSW requires a high risk work licence (LF class, or LO for order pickers) issued by SafeWork NSW; in Western Australia the same nationally recognised licence is issued by WorkSafe WA. Every forklift driver we place holds the relevant licence.
Do You Supply Telehandler, EWP And Boom Lift Operators?
Yes. We supply licensed telehandler operators, EWP operators and boom lift operators (boom-type EWP over 11 m) for construction sites and industrial yards. Tell us the machine and lift height when booking and we match the right ticket holder.
Do You Supply Confined Space Workers?
Yes. We supply workers with confined space entry training for entry and standby roles. Your site remains responsible for the permit system, atmospheric testing and rescue plan.
Do You Supply Ticketed Workers In Perth?
Yes. We supply licensed workers across the Perth metro area — forklift, telehandler, EWP and boom lift operators, Dogman, hoist, working at heights and confined space — with licences issued or recognised under Western Australian requirements.
Traffic Controllers
How Many Traffic Controllers Do I Need?
The number is set by your approved traffic control plan, based on the road, speed zone and works. Send us the plan or tell us what it specifies and we will supply that crew.
Can You Supply Traffic Controllers At Short Notice?
We move quickly on urgent requests. Call 02 9139 8977 with the site, shift time and number of controllers and we will confirm availability straight away.
Do You Supply Traffic Control Equipment?
We supply accredited controllers. Signage, barriers and vehicles are usually provided by the principal contractor or a traffic management company — tell us what your job needs and we will advise.
Do You Supply Traffic Controllers In Perth?
Yes. We supply traffic controllers across the Perth metro area with accreditation recognised in Western Australia.

Tradespeople
Do Your Tradespeople Bring Their Own Tools?
Most tradespeople bring the standard hand tools for their trade. Power tools, plant and consumables vary by job, so confirm what is needed when you book and we will make it clear in the quote.
Can I Hire A Single Carpenter For A Short Job?
Yes. We place single tradespeople for short jobs as well as full crews for longer stages. A minimum charge of 4 hours per worker applies, and we confirm the hourly rate upfront.
What Is A Caulker?
A caulker seals joints and gaps — around windows, doors, facades, expansion joints and wet areas — with sealants to make them watertight and neat. It is a finishing trade that matters at handover.

How Much Does A Builders Clean Cost?
Cost depends on the size of the property, the stage of clean and the condition of the site. We quote a fixed price after understanding the scope, so there are no surprises at handover.
Do Construction Cleaners Need A White Card?
Yes, if they are working on an active construction site. Every cleaner we place on a live site holds a White Card and wears site PPE.
Can You Clean While Trades Are Still On Site?
Yes. Progressive cleans are designed to happen around the trades. We coordinate with your site manager so cleaning does not get in the way.
Do You Do Builders Cleans In Perth?
Yes. We provide construction cleaning across Sydney and the Perth metropolitan area.

Commercial Cleaning Staff
Do You Provide Cleaning Products And Equipment?
It depends on the arrangement. Many clients supply their own products and equipment; we can also discuss options. Confirm this when you book so it is included in your quote.
Can I Book A Cleaner For A One-Off Job?
Yes. We place cleaners for one-off deep cleans and end-of-lease cleans as well as ongoing schedules.
Are Your Cleaners Police Checked?
We screen and reference check our workforce. If your site requires a national police check or other clearance, tell us when you book and we will confirm it before placement.

Can You Supply Warehouse Staff For Night Shifts?
